Sleeping is a new beginning. When you fall asleep, you find yourself in wonderous worlds of joy and allure.
Inspired by otome visual novels, Dreamwalking Elysium is a 35,000-word interactive novel, set with cuteness and charm in a fantasy dreamworld. Play as a sorceress, with the freedom to customize your name, specialization and appearance.
Blessed with the gift of magic, you are a sorceress. However, your gift is a rare one. You can traverse dreams and memories, shaping them as you want. Dreaming is a place of exploration, reflection and serenity to you.
Traverse your memories and visit old experiences, love interests and more. Find a place where the dreamworld exists with no bounds but your imagination.
Jam notes: Stock art images were not used here. While I used them extensively in Scarlet Sorceress, I decided to work in the spirit of creating my own art for the jams. All art was created from scratch in Paint.net or modified from photographs I took. Stock sound files were used under a CC0 license, with all sound taken from freesound.org.
This game was updated for the current Uplifting Game Jam under the rules. It was previously accepted into an older LightBear Game Jam.

Feedback:
A story-driven path game with strong customization, branching choices, and UI effort. While not engaging for all players (especially those who prefer active gameplay), the variety of outcomes and depth of narrative is commendable. Introducing additional interactivity could broaden appeal, but the effort and attention to choice consequences are impressive.
A very creative visual novel with interesting worlds to explore
